問題解答:
1. 問腓力的原因未能有完滿的解答。有人說因為他是伯賽大人(約1:44),而當時他們所在是伯賽大附近,所以這可能是耶穌優先問他的原因;但有人說路加福音所說的伯賽大城並不是約翰福音所說的位於加利利湖西岸的城,而是湖東的城,屬分封的王腓力所管轄的
2. 因為當時是近猶太人逾越節的日子,所以有很多猶太人正在離家前往耶路撒冷途中,也因此而有了這麼多人聚集的可能
3. 因為當時候天色已晚了(太、可、路),是吃晚飯的時候,所以眾人當時最需要的便是能得吃;但當地是曠野,不容易找到可滿足五千人食量的地方
4. 這個不得而知。不過從這問題我們可看見孩童與門徒們形成強烈的對比,因為孩童給人的感覺是在這問題上並沒有能力解決,而門徒們和大人們是理應比較有能力解決的,結果卻出人意表-門徒們用盡努力也無法解決,但卻透過門徒們所輕視的孩童的五餅二魚來餵飽五千人,還能裝滿了十二籃子
5. 這個或許正在表達門徒已盡力想辦法了,但仍然不可能做到餵飽五千人的事
6. 這個不得而知,應該只是補充作用的資料。或許約翰只想透過這樣給予讀者一個更具體的圖像,又或許在以色列必須要有足夠大的草地才能夠讓這麼多人在山上坐下
7. 在馬可和路加的記載中,耶穌是叫眾人一排一排地坐,然後把擘開的餅先遞給門徒,再遞給眾人的,是按著秩序的

我們可以從四個角度來重譯這件事件:
1. 眾人的角度
“真的十分震憾!我們遇見那要來世間的先知了!從沒見過這樣奇妙的事!本來我來到這裏打算看那個神蹟治癒病人的夫子耶穌,來到的時候發覺原來也有很多人一同來圍繞他,我只能遠遠地看見他一點兒的形象。天晚將近吃晚飯的時候,我的肚子開始餓了。夫子耶穌叫我們一排一排地坐下,我在遠處看見他為著一點食物祝謝,然後遞給眾人;本來我以為必定沒有我的份兒了,誰知我也得了,並且還能遞給別人!後來聽說收拾時竟裝滿了十二個籃子!因此我們都相信這位是那要來世間的先知了。我們盼望他能作我們的王,復興以色列國,可是他卻獨自退去了。”
2. 孩童的角度
“我覺得很興奮!真的看得我目瞪口呆了!沒想到我的五個大麥餅和兩條魚竟然可以餵飽這麼多人,而且還有剩下!本來我知道他們要食物,便拿出我所有出來給他們;那個夫子耶穌便拿起來祝謝和擘開,本來沒有怎麼特別的,但我竟然見到每個人都可以拿著那五個大麥餅和兩條所擘開的部份來吃,並且有餘。真的很厲害!我們有很多很多人的!多到數不到!真的很厲害!”
3. 腓力的角度
“當初夫子問我從哪裏買餅叫這些人得吃的時候,真的使我手足無措!我和其他門徒都知道即使八個月的工資也是不夠買餅給這許多人吃的;然而我們也盡量想辦法,同時在四周搜尋食物。後來安得烈不知從哪裏找到一個孩童,並從孩童處拿了五個大麥餅和兩條魚給夫子,可是我們都知道這對於這許多人來說是微足不道的;我們都盡了能力,但已沒有什麼辦法了。這個時候夫子很冷靜地吩咐我們叫眾人一排一排地坐下,然後他為餅和魚祝謝、擘開,並吩咐我們遞給眾人;本來不明白在做什麼,但由於是夫子的吩咐便照做了。十分神奇!我們發覺眾人在拿了食物後仍有剩餘的用來傳遞下去,並且每排的人都是這樣-本來的五個餅兩條魚竟可以分了這麼多的份量!在我們每一個人都吃飽後,夫子吩咐我們把零碎收拾,竟然能裝滿十二個籃子!比原本的五個餅兩條魚還要多!
4. 耶穌的角度
“我和門徒退到曠野,本來打算休息;但後來見許多人來聚集,於是我便為他們治病講道。天晩的時候,我起意要給這眾人得吃,但我先故意問腓力他的意見,試驗一下他和其他門徒會怎樣面對這個處境;他們卻只顧努力地找食物和計算金錢,最後的結果是安得烈從孩童處找到五個大麥餅和兩條魚,並表示沒有可餵飽眾人的辦法。於是我吩咐他們都坐下,然後我為餅和魚祝謝。我的天父聽了我的祈禱,賜我們足夠的食物,叫我們都從那五個餅和兩條魚得吃,並且吃飽。眾人都吃飽後,我不想糟蹋天父所賜的食物,因此吩咐我的門徒收拾所有剩餘的,結果裝滿了十二個籃子。眾人看見了這一切後,便起意要擁我為王;可是我並不想這樣,於是獨自離開眾人而去,因為這神蹟原不為此。”
應用Application
1. 五餅二魚
耶穌能使用人看來微不足道的來滿足眾人的需要。祂並不是透過祝謝和擘開變出很多的餅和魚-由祂手中出去的仍是那五個大麥餅和兩條魚,但當遞到眾人的手中時,每人都能從耶穌所祝福使用的五餅二魚中得到滿足。這就像今天我們每個信徒可能只有微不足道的力量和知識,或許並沒有像先知的洞見、講道的恩賜、恒忍的愛心,但若全然交給主,祂仍可以透過我們這微不足道的力量和知識去滿足眾人(五千人)的需要!在過程中可能發覺我們並沒有怎麼的力量增強或知識豐富了(當然主也會祝福),但祂仍能大大使用。現今世代中有不少需要得吃的“眾人”,耶穌也將這個難題交給我們,要我們給他們吃;或許我們都心情焦急或無奈,就像當天的腓力和安得烈一般,縱然力量軟弱如孩童般,知識缺乏如赤貧人家的大麥餅,耶穌仍願意並且要使用。重點並不是有多少餅和魚,或有多好的食物,或有多大的難題,而是主大能的臨在和使用,即使所面對的是有如五千之眾的難題!
2. 主所容許的困難
這個難題是耶穌主動給予門徒的,就像我們生活中會經歷不少是主所容許的困難,為要試驗並教導我們,但是試驗什麼呢?所要試驗的便是我們對主的依靠和信心-門徒聽到難題後立時否決做到的可能性,並且一直只用自己的努力尋找解決方法,直到最後只找到微不足道的五餅二魚,並且發覺已無法可施,幾乎絶望;誰知耶穌從容地接過五餅二魚,從這沒有人想過有用處的食物中解決難題!可以想像他們當時的反應必定是目瞪口呆-原來只消交給主就解決了
3. 賜我們日用的飲食
耶穌教導我們不要為飲食、生活和明日憂慮,並不是空談;透過這個神蹟,祂所展現出來的便是一個實證-雖只有五餅二魚,仍是豐足有餘,還可以供應無數的人。
4. 免得有糟蹋的
雖然大麥餅只是赤貧人家的食物,但耶穌仍然予以重視,並不想糟蹋祂的天父所賜予的食物,這就是耶穌感恩的心;只因著這是天父所祝福賜予的,所以萬分珍惜。回想我們每天的飯前感恩,是否像耶穌一般的存這樣感恩的心,珍惜天父所賜的?

領導
最近和一群教會領袖開會談教會發展、使命、夢想、領導等課題.
自然就想到,牧師和傳道人就是教會的領導人,更是屬靈的領導人. 教牧是教會和屬靈的領導人.
有關領導教會,是一項藝術多於像公司老板的領導.教會領導藝術的意思,是指『教會的領導』開放給更多人參予,這樣,會對教會運作帶來好處,同時又增加困難.教會「多元化」可以分兩個層面:
1平信徒的領袖:彼得前書二9節,每人在基督裏都是君尊的祭司。
「多元化」的教會一般具有較強的凝聚力,會眾認定教會是「我屬靈的家」,踴躍地參與事奉工作,對教會充滿歸屬感.
例如在小組事工,鼓勵他們積極投入事奉,諸如組長、副組長、聯絡、靈修、外展、關懷等等对教会发展潜力发展发挥很大。
若,教会事工的负责人非常内聚,也许形成一股力量,成为教会的小教会,如此,他们是听见部长领袖声音远远胜于教牧的声音,长成教会的问题了。
2教牧同工:所有「多元化」領導和管理的教會,其主任牧師必須在屬靈教導、屬靈操練、教會方向、教會異象等,負起領導教會的責任,這是提摩太前書十五17說的。
其實G已經齊備這兩項功能,我個人認為,現在是需要加強團隊的領導.因此,未來的領導,在教會的決策方面,由主任牧師和教牧團隊帶領,經過教牧同工開會, 禱告、等候,才作出一些決議。
給教會定下一個基本及明確的方向,經由執事會決定之後,由教牧、執事、部長、而傳達到教會各部門配搭執行,著重團隊精神。
領導的藝術,還是看到弟兄姐妹和睦同居,信徒生命能夠得到改變,互相服事。
這樣的教會生活,就是2013金禧年的教會(詩篇133).
